How I bring it all together
Revenue Opportunities
We have rivers, lakes, trails, camping, tubing, the coast, and the dunes, all assets that attract visitors and support local businesses already. By investing and creating signature events, and strengthening the infrastructure that helps supports tourism, we can draw more visitors into our communities and boost local economies. This creates opportunities for new businesses and helps existing ones thrive.
Building Better Communities
Public interest is always top of mind. Is what we are wanting to do serving our communities and our residents. At the heart of my choices will be our residents.
Commissioners need to build coalitions, communicate clearly, and bring diverse groups together.
Future Proofing and Forward Thinking
A focus on practical, real-world solutions. I don't want to theorize why things should work; I want to see how they do or don't work. Not all solutions will work right out of the gate, and that is okay.
This process is called an Iterative Design Process.
Analyze the problem to understand what’s really happening.
Plan a practical solution based on real‑world needs.
Develop and implement that solution with transparency and community input.
Test the results to see what works and what needs adjustment.
We repeat this cycle of refining, improving, and adapting until the problem is truly
solved.
Being Held accountable
This approach is hands‑on, accountable, and results‑driven. It highlights what is possible when teams come together with a goal in mind. It ensures that decisions are grounded in evidence, shaped by community experience, and continuously improved over time.
